Water Butt FAQs
What are the water butts made from?
All our water butts are made from a very strong plastic called MDPE (Medium Density Polyethylene).
Do I need to empty the water butt in the Winter?
No, should the water inside the water butt freeze, the water butt will expand but not split.
Can I access the inside of the water butt?
Yes on all our water butts a vented lid (size will depend on the volume of the water butt) which will give you access to the inside for cleaning etc.
Whats the holes in the middle for?
The holes are called "baffles" and are made with the intention of transporting water as these water tanks are also used as Baffled Water Tanks for the cleaning industry. |
